It’s easy to embed a YouTube Live Stream on any site using YouTube’s standard embedding method. However, our WordPress plugin allows you to do that plus it:
(a) only needs your YouTube channel url and it will automatically find the associated live stream. That means you can create multiple live streams and not have to remember specific video links or hardcode them into your embeds.
(b) allows you to produce arbitrary content (text, images, videos, etc) to show when the stream is not live — it’s quite flexible as it uses a full-blown editor.
