In this video you are going to learn the basics of how to make an Ebook in Canva. When it comes to creating a great user experience, the design of your ebook cover is just the start. Too many entrepreneurs forget that the internal design of a PDF ebook is can be just as important as the cover.

This video will focus on how to create an ebook to give away on a blog, along with all the information you’ll need if you want to create a high value ebook to sell in a marketplace. It’s important to note that Canva should not be used for designing Kindle books. Only opt-in offers and free PDF guides/blueprints.

Because of the 30 page Canva limit it’s best to use a different program for longer form PDF’s and full-blown kindle books. The first step to understanding how to make an Ebook in Canva is choosing your format. Are your readers on their phone, tablets, or desktop?

For Desktop viewers, the 16:9 ratio works best. For phone and print, the standard 8.5 x 11 is the way to go. It’s important you choose before you start designing because the free version of Canva will not let you change your PDF Ebook size once you start designing.
