How to confirm your website on Pinterest
If you are new here..Be sure to click the subscribe button and the notification bell so you will know when new content is posted.
First go to your Pinterest account and make sure that you are signed into your business hub
Click on the pinterest “p” in the top left corner.
Look down and you will see a button that says claim website. Go ahead and click on this.
The website you have on your profile should pre-populate in the box . Once you see it there click claim to the right side of the box.
From here the easiest method is to add html tag. So we will do this. Click the button, for add html tag ,highlight , right click and copy the text that appears and click next.
Then go to your wordpress admin and make sure you are logged in. Scroll down until you get to SEO ** please note that I used a free wordpress plugin called yoast
Once you click on seo click on social, click on pinterest, and paste your verification code in the box and be sure to save the changes.
Now if you don’t have yoast you can look on the left menu bar and scroll down to plugins click on add new
Search for yoast and then install and activate. I already have yoast but if I didn’t those options would show up…
Once you have everything saved.Go back to pinterest
Click next and then click submit.
It takes pinterest approximately 24hrs to approve sometimes it can be approved sooner.
