Day 5 of the build your own website free tutorial is all about adding images, text and video.

One quick note about adding video to websites…
You’ll notice in this video we add a YouTube video. If you have an original video you want to share on your site, the best way to do this is to first upload the video to YouTube. You do not want to host the video on your site directly because it will slow your site down. By hosting the video on YouTube and referencing it, you are still able to view it on your site as shown in this tutorial.
The advantages to hosting it on YouTube are that it won’t slow down your site and it will improve your search engine optimization. YouTube is owned by Google, making it the second largest search engine (second to Google). Anytime you put a YouTube video on your website you improve your search engine optimization. In other words, Google likes that you put a YouTube video up and it ranks your website higher making it easier for people to find in searches.
