Social media is taking the world by storm and is a huge gold mine for people to take advantage of. A lot of people wonder how to create their own social media website or app, and that is what I am going to cover in this tutorial series. This video begins with how to get the free hosting that you need as well as where to start with building your social network. The social media website is monetizable from google ad sense and you can actually add your own ads if you get sponsors for what you are doing.

The easiest way to learn about how to use this network (Open Source Social Network) is to follow along with this tutorial. Some minor aspects of this project, such as changing the background image or adding a search bar took me weeks to figure out how to do. Now that I have learned, I will show you how to do each of those in under 5 minutes each.

This tutorial spawned because of the difficulty of using OSSN. The platform is amazing, but making changes can be quite difficult, especially to make it your dream social networking website. Not to worry, I got your back!
