Learn how you can add UPI payment gateway to your ecommerce website.
Let’s say you’ve an ecommerce website and when a customer purchases a product from your site, they can make the payment by using UPI apps like google pay.
So you can add the UPI payment gateway by following our 2 simple steps.

Step 1 : Install ‘UPI QR code payment’ plugin
To install the plugin, go to WordPress Dashboard ► Plugin’s ► Add New
Now search for ‘UPI QR code payment’ and click ‘Install’ & ‘Activate’.
Once you’ve installed the plugin, you can go to the next step.
Step 2 : Set up the UPI plugin
To set up the plugin,
Go to WordPress Dashboard ► WooCommerce ► Settings
Now in the ‘UPI VPA ID’ field,
You need to enter your UPI ID to which you want to receive your payment.
You can get the UPI ID from your UPI App like google pay.
Once you’ve entered your UPI ID, choose ‘Hide Field’ in UPI Address.
Now click ‘Save Changes’ to save the settings.
Now you’ve successfully completed setting up the plugin
And the UPI payment gateway will be added to your website.
Now when the customer purchases a product from your website,
They will be able to make the payment through UPI by scanning the QR
code which is displayed on the payment page using any of their UPI Apps.
Once the payment is made, the customer has to click Proceed ► Confirm to place the order.
Once the order is placed, you and your customer will receive email about the order.
Now in the customer email, the order will be stated as ‘On Hold’.
Now you need to notify your customer that you’ve received the payment and the order is processed.
To do that, make sure you’ve received the payment from your customer
And then go to WordPress Dashboard ► WooCommerce ► Orders
Now click on the order for which you want to change the status.
Now change the status to ‘Processing’ and click ‘Update’.
Once you’ve updated the status, the customer will receive another email from your website,
Mentioning that you’ve received the payment and the order is being processed.
So now you can start delivering the product to your customer.
